I wanted to ask: was her name inspired by a song – or a poem – by one of your influences (band/singer/poet)?
She was already named when I got her at about 9 months. I got her at a pound out in Lancaster. We went looking for kittens and there weren’t any. She kept looking at me as I walked around while her two brothers slept in a little house. She was not begging to be free’d or anything like that. She was just really happy to see me.
